The bulk of the usual pleasantries about good company , well groomed course etc. go without saying ; the post- match  meal , however , was outstanding – 3 courses , beautifully cooked , generous quantities , efficiently served and enjoyed by all .A credit to the club and the catering staff .

It quite took away the disappointment of losing 5 to 3 .
