WGC match against Dorset Tuesday 26th April

The match was played at Weymouth Golf Course on a cold windy day with the occasional hail/snow storm and light showers interspersed with sunny periods. The course itself was well prepared and in really good order with fast greens.

The holes being a bit on the short side were counteracted by having narrow fairways and some quite interesting par threes.

We were made very welcome by the Dorset team and enjoyed a good meal after the match for which we would like to thank the golf Clubs catering staff.

The match ended in a draw with 4 points each. Captain John Hawley thanked our hosts and we all departed at 8pm.
