Summer Meeting 2014

This year Hamptworth were the hosts for our Summer inter club competition, the games were played almost entirely in sunshine a pleasant change.

The course had recovered well from the winter/spring winds and rain and played well. Thirteen clubs entered the competition which was won by Marlborough led by their current club captain Gordon Buckett who was supported by John Symons, Neil Patch and Bryan Arthur scoring 113 pts.

Runners up were The Wiltshire with 111 pts. whose team consisted of club captain Andy Cook, Ian Armstrong, Mike Williams and Tim Davis.

Nearest the pin raised over £130 for Hamptworth's captain Dave Pallet's charity.

After the competition the catering staff produced an excellent meal which was appreciated by every one.
