Summer Meeting

The Summer meeting, playing for The Tom Sherry Inter-Club Trophy, was won this year by The Wiltshire Club team with 115 points.

The players were Mark Davis, Ian Armstrong, Ray Smith and Mike Williams. This is the third time “The Wiltshire” have won the trophy which was first played for in 2007.

Cumberwell came second with 110 points. The weather on the day was mainly overcast with the occasional shower getting most of the later starters wet.

The course was in a very good condition and the meal was very well received by all present.

Thanks must go to Bob Channon the Upavon WGC representative who did a lot of the organisation within the club ensuring a very successful day.
