WGC  v  Dorset GC

Played at Crane Valley On 26th April , 2012.

              The match was played in pleasant sunshine which was something of a miracle considering the rain encountered on the way down; the only sign of the rain from earlier in the day being the flooded bunkers which became GUR and preferred lies being declared through the green ( although this was not really necessary )  The course was in pretty good shape .

    The dinner was excellent with the dessert being the most delicious crumble I’ve had for some time.

The club should be congratulated for the quality of their hospitality.

      The match result was a draw which was a fair reflection of the friendly ( as usual ) spirit in which it was played.
