WGC v Gloucestershire GC

I Regret to announce that we were beaten 5.5 to 2.5 yesterday although all members of both sides appeared to enjoy themselves. 

Captain GGC didn’t have the trophy with him and we therefore did not mention it publicly, but they will just retain it for another year. 

Lovely course beautifully presented with a couple of steep climbs to test trolley and pacemaker batteries; great views from the top; very friendly opponents; match played in bright sunshine after very heavy shower immediately beforehand; quality clubhouse, food et al and a good day was had by all.
