Shropshire & Herefordshire v Wiltshire Match Report

After a long journey through sometimes heavy rain the Wiltshire Team arrived in good time to enjoy a light lunch with the home side.

The rain abated after several holes on a picturesque and well prepared course in hilly parkland terrain. Blind drives on the opening holes made things tricky as did rain showers during the match leaving standing water on some greens.

The match was played in the usual good spirit however and a late dinner was enjoyed by all with the match result in Wiltshire’s favour.
