The annual Wiltshire Golf Captains' match against the Ladies was played at Marlborough Golf Club on Friday 5th June in sunny but blustery conditions.
Unfortunately for Sue one of her ladies pulled out at the last minute and she made an heroic decision to take on the Wiltshire captain Bill and the Marlborough captain Alan on her own.
Bill being the captain he his did give Sue a couple of extra shots but to no avail as she came in a worthy winner.
There were a couple of other surprises but the men eventually ran out winners 5 - 3
After the match we all sat down to a two course dinner with wine, which was well presented by the chef and staff of Marlborough Golf Club.
